Our Ernst And Young office is located at No 19 on 4th Main, 15th Cross in Lakshminarayan Puram. It is a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't from around here, but we like the neighborhood. It feels more like a community than a business district. We work out of a modest space where the focus is strictly on the tasks we are assigned. There are about six of us usually. We spend our mornings going through emails and our afternoons dealing with ledger entries. It is steady work. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just tell people where we are and what we are doing. The chairs are a bit old but comfortable enough for a full day of work. Sometimes we hear the local vendors calling out on the street, which reminds us of where we are. We don't have any grand visions. We just take the documents we are given and process them as they should be. It is a very practical way to spend the day. We share a lot of laughs during our breaks, which helps when the work gets a bit dry. We are just a local team doing our part in this corner of Bangalore. It is a simple setup but it works for what we need.
