Smc Medical Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. is located out in the Epip Area of Whitefield at No 53/54. Being in an industrial zone like this means there’s always a lot of construction and trucks moving around. Bangalore traffic is what it is, so many of us start our day quite early just to beat the worst of it. The facility itself is kept very clean because of what we do, which is a big contrast to the dusty roads outside. We spend a lot of our time in lab coats and following all the safety protocols. It’s a very routine-heavy environment. There isn't much in the way of scenery, just other factories and warehouses as far as you can see. We have a small canteen where everyone gathers for lunch, and that’s usually when we get to catch up on things outside of work. The machines have their own rhythm, and you get so used to the humming that you don't even notice it after a while. We’ve been at this spot for a good number of years now. Most of the staff live nearby, though a few still make the long trek from the city center every day. It’s a serious place because of the nature of medical products, but we still find time to joke around in the break room. Just a bunch of people making parts and keeping the production records straight for the files.
