Engineering Associates

You can find us at 1029/D on 17 E Cross in Indiranagar II Stage. It’s a nice area, but our spot is more about the work than the scenery. Engineering Associates has been operating out of this location for a good bit now. We aren't one of those big firms with a reception desk and coffee machines. Instead, we have a workspace filled with old desks, rolls of blueprints, and some testing equipment that’s seen a lot of use. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first arrived, with more cafes and shops opening up, but we’ve mostly stayed the same. We do a lot of the back-end engineering stuff that most people don't think about. It involves a lot of calculations and making sure things are safe and functional. Our team is small, just a few of us who have been doing this for decades. We tend to talk in shorthand because we’ve worked together for so long. Sometimes we have clients come in to look at progress, and they have to step over a few boxes to find a chair. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We don't put out brochures or anything like that. People just know us from the work we’ve done over the years. We just show up, do the job, and go home to our families. It's a steady way to make a living in the city.
