Energy Economy And Environmental Consultants is located at 128 6th Cross, 10th Main in Indira Nagar, Bangalore. This is a pretty busy part of town, so there is always the sound of traffic and people outside. Our office is in one of the older buildings on the street, and it has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We spend our days consulting on environmental and energy issues, which means we have a lot of books and research papers piled up on our desks. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves and cabinets we’ve squeezed in. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around for years and some newer faces, but we all just get along and do our jobs. Bangalore weather is usually good, so we leave the windows open when it isn't too noisy, which lets in a nice breeze but also some dust. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that; if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door just gets up and answers it. Most of our day is spent writing long reports or on calls with people who need advice on their environmental impact. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s important to us, and we like being in this part of the city where everything is so close by.
