Embassy Of India Dushanbe

Even though the name is Embassy Of India Dushanbe, we are actually operating out of 62 11th Main Road in Vasant Nagar. That’s in Bangalore, Karnataka. It’s a nice area with a lot of old trees that provide plenty of shade during those sunny Bangalore afternoons. The building is at number 62, and it’s a fairly straightforward place. We don't have any of those high-tech security gates or polished marble floors you might expect from a name like ours. It’s just an office where we keep track of things and handle the necessary communication. The street outside is usually busy with people heading to the local shops or the offices nearby. We hear the sounds of the city all day, the scooters zooming past and the birds in the branches above. Inside, the rooms are filled with filing cabinets and desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with our decor. We just want to get through the day's work and make sure everything is in order. It’s a very human way of working, where the staff knows each other well and we don't stand on ceremony. It might seem a bit plain to an outsider, but it works for us. We've been at this address for a while and the routine of the 11th Main Road has become a part of our daily life. There's a little canteen nearby where we often grab a quick meal.
