Down here in Bangalore, specifically in Banashankari 2nd Stage, is where you’ll find our office. We are located at No 54 2 in the Sri Hari Apartments on 2nd Main Sarbande Palya. The name on the lease is DTZ International Property Advisers. Bangalore weather is usually nice, so we often keep the windows open, though the dust from the road can be a bit much. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got some chairs for visitors and a big table where we spread out all the maps and property documents. It’s not a high-rise glass building, just a normal apartment converted into a workspace. I spend a lot of my day talking to people on the phone or driving out to see different sites across the city. The traffic in Sarbande Palya can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our outside errands done early. There’s a small South Indian place nearby where we get our tiffins. We don't really have a mission statement or anything like that. We just help people figure out their property stuff and try not to make too many mistakes with the paperwork. It’s just a group of us working hard in a busy city. The office feels lived in, with coffee stains on some of the desks and stacks of newspapers in the corner. We keep it simple and just do the work that comes our way.
