Dk Enterprises Grace Travels is situated on the first floor at 82/3 Vivek Nagar, right in the New Timber Yard Layout. If you come by, you have to walk up the stairs which are a bit narrow, but it’s easy to find once you are on the street. The area around the timber yard is always full of activity and the smell of wood, which stays in the air even up here in the office. We spend most of our time here booking trips and talking to drivers about their schedules. There is a small desk where we keep the registers and a couple of chairs for anyone who drops in to ask about bus timings or car rentals. The walls have a few old calendars and some maps pinned up so we can check distances quickly. It is not a very quiet place because of all the trucks moving nearby, but that is just how Vivek Nagar is. We handle a lot of phone calls during the day, mostly people looking for a way to get to the airport or wanting to plan a visit to their hometown. We write everything down in big notebooks because we like having a physical record of the bookings. The fan overhead makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the room cool enough. We are just a small group of people trying to make sure everyone gets where they need to go without too much trouble.
