We are located right in the middle of Sadar Bazar, very close to the Electric Market. Diwakar Catering Services has been operating from here for a good number of years. It's noisy and crowded outside, but we actually like the energy of the market. Every morning starts way before the sun is up, heading out to get the freshest ingredients we can find. We cook for all sorts of gatherings in Subramanya Nagar, from small family lunches to bigger functions. It’s mostly about the food tasting like home and being hot when people finally sit down to eat. We don't do anything too fancy or complicated. Just solid, traditional meals that people recognize. Sometimes the spice levels are a big debate in the kitchen, but we usually find a way to make everyone happy. The kitchen gets incredibly hot, especially during the afternoon rush. Our staff knows most of the regulars around this part of town. It’s a lot of lifting heavy pots and making sure every single plate is scrubbed clean. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy ads for us. It’s just us. People know where to find us if they need a good meal for a function. The market is a good place to be based because everything we need is just a few steps away. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when two big orders come in at the same time, but we just put our heads down and manage it.
