Dharmashri Buildmat Traders

Dharmashri Buildmat Traders is located right over by the Dwaraka Nagar Bus Stand in Chikkabanavara. If you're coming down Hesaraghatta Main Road, you can't really miss Plot No.1 in Nandi Nagar. It’s a busy spot, especially with the buses coming and going all day long. We deal in all the usual building materials that people in this area are looking for. The yard is usually full of sand, stone, and whatever else is in demand that week. It gets pretty crowded when we have two or three trucks trying to load up at the same time, but we usually figure it out eventually. I started working here because I like being outdoors and seeing things being built from the ground up. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying, but it keeps you busy. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk where we handle the paperwork and talk to the regulars. Most of our customers are from right here in Nandi Nagar or the surrounding neighborhoods, so we see the same people quite often. We just try to keep enough stock on hand so nobody has to wait too long for their delivery. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and as long as people are building houses around here, we’ll probably be right here by the bus stand doing exactly what we're doing now. It’s not fancy, but it works.
