Dhanvantri Ayurvedic Clinic

Our clinic is located in Basaveshwara Nagar, right by the water tank bus stop. If you know where Gurusagar Hotel is, we are just a stone's throw away from there. We do traditional Ayurveda here. It’s a quiet spot mostly, though the buses can be loud when they pull up. We have a lot of herbs and oils around, so the place always smells like sandalwood or neem. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but people seem to like it. We don't have those fancy white walls and bright lights. It’s more comfortable than that. My uncle used to run a similar shop and I learned a lot from watching him. We handle back pain, skin issues, and things that don't always need heavy medicine. Sometimes we run out of a specific oil and have to wait for the delivery from Kerala, which takes a few days. We tell people to be patient because Ayurveda isn't a quick fix. You have to wait for the body to respond. Most of our regulars live in the 3rd stage area. We see them at the market too. It’s a very local vibe. We just provide the treatments and give some advice on what to eat. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till evening. The wooden benches in the front are a bit hard, but they’ve been there since we opened.
