Deva Matha Central School

Deva Matha Central School is tucked away in Ashirwad Colony, part of the P & T Layout in Oramavu, Banaswadi. It’s a very residential area, which is nice because it feels safe and quiet for the students. We are right in the middle of where people live, so a lot of the kids just walk over from the nearby houses. The P & T Layout is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but Ashirwad Colony is easy enough to find once you are in Oramavu. The school building is a regular-looking place, nothing too fancy or modern. We have been serving the Banaswadi community for years. It’s a bit like a big family here, to be honest. We know the parents and we know the shopkeepers on the corner. There isn't any of that corporate polish here. We just have our classrooms, a small office, and the space where the kids play. Sometimes the bells don't ring exactly on time or the paint is peeling a little in the corner, but it’s a real place with real people. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy speeches or marketing. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone is where they should be. It’s a good, solid neighborhood school that does its job without making a lot of noise about it. It has been that way for a long time and we don't see any reason to change it now.
