Down here at 291 Annaporneshwari Nagar, things stay busy because Bangalore is always moving. Deutsche Bank has this spot in a neighborhood that's mostly houses and small shops. It's not like the big glass buildings you see in the tech parks. We are just on a regular street where people walk their dogs and kids go to school. Inside, we have our desks and the typical office setup. The light isn't great in the back, but we make it work. Most days involve a lot of typing and looking at spreadsheets. It gets a bit noisy when the traffic picks up outside, which happens earlier and earlier every year. We don't do much in the way of big events or anything. Usually, it's just us at our computers, making sure the numbers match up. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all just wait around for a bit. It’s a practical place to work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or free snacks. It’s just an office where people come to get their banking needs sorted without too much fuss. We've got a small water cooler and a few chairs for visitors. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you're carrying stuff. Most of us take the bus or ride a scooter to get here. It’s a steady routine for the staff in this part of town, making sure everything is handled correctly.
