We have been set up here in Bangalore at Basaveshwara Colony for quite some time now. Our office is right there on the first cross, near the Hanuman Temple. It's a handy landmark because otherwise, people get lost looking for Shivanandvdoranahalli. We share the space with a few others and it's usually pretty crowded with papers and site plans. As a project consultant group, we spend most of our mornings looking over drawings and talking to contractors. It’s not a very flashy setup. We have some old chairs and a big table where we spread out the blueprints. Chandrakant Kalashetty is usually around to help coordinate things. The name Desing Group was actually a mistake on some old forms, but we never bothered to change it because everyone knows us by it now. Outside, there is a small tea stall where we go when the power goes out or when we just need a break from the computer screens. The traffic can be a bit much during the evenings, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don't do any big advertising campaigns or have a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who just walk in or have worked with us before on other building projects. We just try to get the details right so the construction doesn't run into problems later on. It’s simple, steady work and we like being part of this local neighborhood.
