Design Testing Engineer

Sowmya K. is usually here at the Design Testing Engineer office in Mathikere. We are up on the 1st floor at 93, 8th Cross. Brindavan Nagar is a decent place to be based out of in Bangalore. The stairs are a bit narrow, but once you’re inside, it’s a functional space for testing and engineering work. It gets plenty of light during the day. We’ve been here for some time now, just plugging away at the daily tasks. It’s not a high-rise office building, just a regular place in a residential-commercial mix. You hear the sounds of the street throughout the day. We have our equipment set up and enough room to think. Some days are quieter than others. We don’t put much effort into decorations or fancy furniture. It’s all about the work we have in front of us. Being on the 8th Cross makes it easy for people to find us if they know the area. 560 054 is a busy pin code, so there’s always something going on nearby. We just focus on getting the testing done right. It’s a small team, no layers of management or corporate rules to follow. We just talk to each other and get things finished. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just rely on being here and doing what we do. It is a simple life at the office. We make our coffee and get to work.
