Design Production

We have been at the Prabha Reddy Building for a while now. It is number 11, right here in Gb Palya. Most days start early because the traffic around here gets pretty bad later on. Design Production is basically just a few of us working through the orders that come in. It’s not a huge fancy office or anything like that. We have our setup, the machines are usually humming, and there is always some noise from the street outside. I usually grab a tea from the stall nearby before we get into the heavy lifting. Sometimes the power acts up, but we manage to stay on schedule most of the time. The building itself is easy to find once you know where you are going in this part of town. We spend a lot of time just looking at proofs and making sure the colors don't look weird. It's practical work. My desk is a mess of papers and old samples, but I know where everything is. We don't really do the whole corporate meeting thing. We just talk across the room. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves if we can. It’s just how things go here in Gb Palya. People come by, drop off their files, and we get to work. It’s quiet in the evenings when the machines stop. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. It’s a good spot for us and it keeps us busy every day.
