Design Academy

Design Academy is located in Hebbal, at number 2. It’s a simple space where we spend most of our days working. We aren't one of those big institutions with a huge campus and hundreds of students. It’s just a few rooms where we get together to work on different design projects. Hebbal is always growing and there’s a lot of construction around us these days. The dust gets everywhere sometimes which is a bit of a pain. We have some old drawing tables and a few computers that we use. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We don't have a lobby or a dedicated waiting area for visitors. People just come in and find a seat wherever there is space. We’ve been here for a few years and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. Traffic on the main road can be a nightmare in the evenings. We usually stay a bit late to avoid the worst of the rush. It’s just a small group of us here. We share ideas and try to come up with things that look good and work well for people. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team to find work. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us right now. Some days are better than others, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. It’s a modest place but it works.
