Delta Academy

Delta Academy is situated on HMT Main Road in Mathikere, at No. 438/D. We are on the second floor, right above the Boots Showroom and next door to the Canara Bank. The stairs up can be a bit steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step. Being right on the main road means there’s a lot of movement outside all the time. You can see the buses going by from the windows. Inside, it’s just a straightforward layout of rooms. We’ve got some desks that have seen a lot of use and whiteboards that are a bit stained from years of markers. It’s not a large office or anything. We mostly just have enough space for the classes and a small desk for whoever is handling the door that day. The fans make a bit of a rattling noise, but we’ve stopped noticing it. Mathikere is a busy area, so there’s always someone coming in to ask about timings or prices. We try to keep things tidy, but there’s always a stack of books somewhere that needs sorting. Sometimes we share tea from the stall downstairs during the break. It’s a regular part of our day. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. It’s just a place in the middle of a busy street where we spend our hours teaching and talking to whoever walks in. The entrance is right next to the showroom.
