Dell

Our setup is located in the Builders Apartment building here in Bangalore. It’s a bit different from a traditional storefront because it’s inside a residential-style complex. This makes the whole atmosphere feel a bit more relaxed than being on a main commercial road. We have a few rooms dedicated to our work where we handle various Dell-related tasks. The hallway outside is usually quiet, though you can hear the neighbors occasionally. We’ve set up some sturdy workbenches and have plenty of power outlets for all the machines we have to run. The windows look out onto other buildings, so there isn't much of a view, but the natural light helps during the daytime. Bangalore weather is usually okay, but when it gets muggy, the small fans in the corner don't do much. We keep a kettle in the back for making tea because someone is always wanting a cup. There isn't any big sign outside the apartment, so most people have to look at the building directory to find us. It’s a modest way to run things, but it works for what we need. We don’t have fancy carpets or designer chairs, just the basics to get the job done. Most of our time is spent looking at screens or opening up hardware. It’s a steady, quiet way to get through the work week in Karnataka. We just focus on the work and try not to let the clutter get too bad.
