Delicious Home Delights

You can find us over at No.32/4 on Cockburn Road. We are pretty close to the Bamboo Bazar Petrol Bunk, which is a good landmark if you're not from around here. We call ourselves Delicious Home Delights because that’s the kind of stuff we make. It’s the sort of food you’d usually find in a regular home kitchen, not a big hotel. We started this because we realized many people living nearby don't have time to cook for themselves but still want something that isn't greasy restaurant food. The place isn't very large. It’s just a small setup where we prepare things daily. We don't keep leftovers for the next day, so once we run out, that's it. It keeps things fresh. Cockburn Road is a busy spot, and there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve got a few regulars who come by every single day for their lunch or a snack. It’s nice to know their names and what they like to eat. We don’t have a massive team or anything, just a few of us who know our way around a stove. We try to keep the prices fair so anyone can afford a meal here. It’s not about being fancy or having the best decor. It’s just about serving food that tastes right and fills you up. That's the way we've always done it.
