Delicacy The Eating Point

You can find us over at Cooke Town on Infantry 97. It’s a small place where we focus on getting the food out to anyone who walks in. The kitchen is usually the busiest part of the building and it stays pretty warm in there. We don't have a lot of space for fancy things so we just keep the essentials. Most of our day is spent prepping ingredients or cleaning the tables after someone finishes their meal. Cooke Town is a quiet area mostly, so we see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s nice to know who is coming through the door. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It's just an eating point. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to improvise, or a bulb blows out and we have to find a ladder. It’s just the usual stuff that happens when you run a small shop. We try to keep the prices fair because we know people just want a decent meal without a lot of fuss. There isn't a manager in a suit here, just us in our aprons trying to keep things moving. We like the way the street looks in the evening when the lights come on. It’s a simple life and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood here. We don't have a big story to tell. We just cook and hope people enjoy the food.
