Delhi Mess Parota Center

We are based in Jalahalli West. Delhi Mess Parota Center is a straightforward spot for people who just want a meal. The kitchen is right there, so you can hear the sound of the pans and the stove going all the time. It gets quite warm inside because of the cooking, especially during the lunch hour. We have a few basic tables and chairs, nothing fancy at all. The walls are mostly plain, maybe a few calendars hanging up. We focus on parotas, so that's what you'll mostly see being prepared. It’s a busy place with a lot of people coming in and out quickly. We don't have much room for people to linger. The floor is concrete and we wash it down every night. Most of our customers are workers from the area or students who need something quick and filling. We don't have a big marketing strategy or anything. People just find us because of the smell of the food or by asking around. The street outside isn't too broad, so parking can be a bit of a mess sometimes. It’s a humble setup, and we’ve been running it this way for years. It’s just us in the kitchen and one person taking the money. We don't have a menu printed on fancy paper, just what we have ready for the day. The plates are stainless steel and get used all day.
