Deepa Stores

We are located at No.123 on Bvk Iyengar Road in Chickpete. If you know Bangalore at all, you know how busy Chickpete gets during the day. We are right near Hotel Shalimar, which is a big landmark for people trying to find us in the crowd. The traffic around here is usually quite heavy, and the noise from the street never really stops until very late. Our store is tucked away among many others, but we’ve been here for a long time. People come to this part of town for all sorts of things, and they often stop by Deepa Stores while they are out shopping for other stuff. It’s not a very big space, and sometimes it feels a bit cluttered with all the stock we have to keep for the customers. Working on Bvk Iyengar Road means you meet all kinds of people every single day. It’s a very lively place to be. The 560053 area is always buzzing with activity. We open up the shop and start moving boxes early in the morning. Sometimes deliveries arrive late because of the narrow lanes and the heavy crowd. We just deal with it as it comes. It's a family-run kind of place, so you might see different people behind the counter depending on the time of day. We don't use any fancy systems. We just remember where everything is and help people find what they are looking for. It’s a straightforward shop in a very busy part of the city.
