We are Daily Home Made Meals and you can find us at No.458 on 5th Cross in Basaveshwara Nagar. We are really close to Carmel School. In the mornings, the whole street is full of school vans and parents dropping off their kids. It’s quite a sight. We start our work even earlier than that to get the lunch boxes ready. We wanted to make food that tastes like what you get at your own house. There’s no secret to it, just regular ingredients and a lot of stirring. The kitchen is the main part of our place. It’s where we spend about ten hours a day. We don't have a big dining area with waiters. It's more about getting the food packed and sent out to people who are working or don't have time to cook. My sister helps with the packing and I do the heavy lifting with the rice and dal pots. It’s tiring, especially when the weather is hot, but we like the routine. We've lived in this neighborhood for a long time, so we know most of the people on this street. The house we work out of is an old one, but it works for what we do. If you're coming from the main road, just look for the 5th Cross sign near the school. We are right there in the middle of the block.
