Zuari Cement Ltd.

Our office is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Adventz Centre. That’s at No. 28 Cubbon Road in Bangalore. It is a very busy part of the city, right in the middle of everything. Zuari Cement Ltd. has been around for a long time. Even though we are in a big building in Karnataka, it still feels like a place where people just come to do their jobs. The elevators are sometimes slow in the morning, so we take the stairs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at stacks of papers. It’s a lot of coordinating between the factory site and the office. Bangalore traffic is always a big topic of conversation when people walk in. We don't have any flashy stuff in the lobby area. It’s just desks and people working hard. We have a view of the trees on Cubbon Road if you stand by the window in the corner. We aren't trying to sound like some giant corporation. We just deal with cement and logistics every single day. It’s a lot of numbers and schedules to keep track of. Some of the staff have been working here for decades. We take our lunch breaks together in the small breakroom when we can. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don't put out a lot of marketing talk or brochures. We just focus on making sure the bags get to where they need to go from our location.
