We set up this small Csc in Sector 20, Noida, because there was a lot of demand for basic digital work around here. It’s tucked away in a corner of the sector, and mostly we just deal with the locals coming in for their Aadhaar updates or utility bill payments. It isn't a very large place, just enough room for a couple of people to sit while we get their documents ready. We’ve seen how much trouble people have with the online portals, so we just sit here and help them navigate those sites. The power goes out sometimes, like it usually does in this part of Noida, but we have a backup to keep the computers on. It’s mostly just me and a colleague here. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget. Most people find us by word of mouth or just by walking past while running errands in the market. Every day is a bit different, depending on what the government decides to change on their websites. We just keep our heads down and do the work. Sometimes we have a tea break and the work slows down for ten minutes, but that’s just how we run things. It works for us and the people who come here. It is a simple life and we like it.
