Crossover Resto Cafe

Down here at 7m 429 on Worli Hill Road, we keep Crossover Resto Cafe going every day. It’s a bit of a walk if you’re coming from the main parts of Kalyan Nagar, but people seem to find us okay. The kitchen is almost always busy with something on the stove. We started this place because we liked the idea of a spot where you could get a real meal or just a coffee without any fuss. It’s not a big corporate chain. It’s just us. Sometimes the service is a little slow if we have a sudden rush, but we do our best to get the food out hot. We have a mix of tables, and the lighting is whatever we could manage. You’ll see students with their books and older folks just watching the street. The menu is mostly things we like to eat ourselves. We don't use any of those fancy descriptions you see in brochures. It’s just food. We spend a lot of time cleaning the windows because the dust from the road is constant, but it's part of being in this spot. People tell us they like the atmosphere, though we don't really try to create one on purpose. It just happens when you have a bunch of different people in one room. We’re just happy to be here on the hill.
