Convergeon

Down here in Chennai, our office is tucked away in Karunambigai Colony. It is in the 42 area, which most people know as being near Velachery. The colony is mostly residential, so it is actually quite peaceful compared to the noisy main roads. We are at number 23. It is a nice enough building, nothing too modern, just a standard Chennai house converted into an office space. We have been here for a while. The morning commute can be a bit of a drag with the traffic around this part of town, but once you get inside the colony, it calms down. We spend our time working on Convergeon projects. The rooms are a bit small, but we have arranged the desks so everyone has enough space. We do not have a canteen, so we usually bring our own tiffin or go out to one of the small hotels nearby for some sambar rice. The heat in Chennai is something we deal with every day, so the air conditioning is usually on from the moment we walk in. We are not a big corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a local team doing our job. It is a quiet place to work, and we like that we are not right in the middle of a noisy commercial park. It feels more like a home than an office sometimes. We just focus on the day-to-day work and keep things moving. There are no fancy meetings here, just regular work.
