Our address for Confidential is No 3091/1 in Gullappa Layout, right on Oil Mill Road in Bangalore. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that suits us just fine. The road itself can be a bit dusty and busy with trucks and delivery vans, but once you get inside our place, it’s relatively quiet. We’ve set up our workspace here without much fuss. We didn't spend a lot of money on fancy furniture or decorations. We mostly have some sturdy tables and chairs that we’ve had since we started. There is a small area where we keep our bags and coats, and a corner for making coffee when the afternoon slump hits. The lighting isn't the best, but we have enough lamps to see what we're doing. It’s the kind of place where you don’t mind if there’s a bit of paper on the floor or if the bookshelves are a little messy. We are focused on the day-to-day tasks. Most of the people who work for Confidential live around the Bangalore 33 area, so we have a local feel. We aren't trying to be some big tech firm with a gym and a cafeteria. We just have a small kitchen area and our desks. It’s a practical environment. Sometimes we hear the neighbors or the street dogs outside, and it just feels like part of being in this neighborhood. We’re just a regular group of people working in a regular part of town.
