Our office is in the Antony Building over in Hebbal, right by Kensri School at number 3032. It’s a busy area, especially when school lets out and the buses start moving. We spend most of our time out on the road or at people's houses packing up boxes. The office is mostly just where we keep the tape, the bubble wrap, and the logs for the trucks. Moving is hard work and it gets messy, so our clothes usually have a bit of dust on them by the end of a long shift. We have a few trucks that we keep running as best as we can. Sometimes a route takes longer because of the traffic near the school or roadwork, but that’s just how it goes here. We don’t use any complicated systems, just a notebook and some common sense to keep track of where everything needs to go. It’s a small crew of us who have been doing this for a while. We know how to lift things so we don't hurt our backs, most of the time anyway. We aren't some giant national chain with a call center. When you call, you just talk to one of us who is probably holding a roll of tape or a clipboard. We just try to get people's stuff from one place to another without breaking anything. It's basic work, but someone has to do it. We stay busy enough throughout the year.
