Colossal Manpower

Our office is on the first floor at 342, 17th B Cross in JP Nagar 6th Phase. If you know Bangalore, you know how busy the 6th Phase can get, though our particular cross is a bit tucked away from the main chaos. It’s a standard floor in a commercial building, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, we have rows of filing cabinets that are starting to get a bit too full of resumes and old records. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where people walk the most, and we have a water cooler in the corner that always seems to glug loudly at the quietest moments. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking on the phone with people looking for jobs. It can get pretty loud when everyone is talking at once, especially during the mid-morning rush. We don't really do the whole corporate polished thing; we just have our desks and our computers and a few extra chairs for when people come in for interviews. The tea lady comes by twice a day, and that is usually the highlight of our afternoon. It’s a lot of work trying to keep track of who is going where and which company needs what. We just do our best to stay organized with the piles of paper and the endless emails that keep coming in every single hour of the day.
