Coco Carbon Activators

Our place is out in Peenya Industrial Area, specifically Phase III on the 6th Main. It’s number 73/B. If you’ve ever been to Peenya, you know it’s all about the sound of machines and trucks moving around all day long. At Coco Carbon Activators, we deal with the dirty side of things, mostly charcoal and getting it processed right. It gets hot in the shed, especially during the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof. My clothes usually end up with a bit of black dust on them by the time I head home. We aren't a big corporate office with air conditioning and fancy carpets. It’s mostly concrete floors and bags of raw material waiting to be loaded. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit now. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years, so we all know the routine without having to say much. The 6th Main is always crowded with tempos, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just focus on the machines and making sure the carbon is coming out the way it’s supposed to. It’s hard work, and it’s loud, but it feels good to actually make something physical. People come by to check on orders, and we usually just talk out in the yard. No need for formal meetings or anything like that here. It is a messy job, but someone has to do it.
