Classic Food

You can find Classic Food in Jayanagar 9th Block, specifically at 1307 on the 25th Main. This part of the city is always full of people, and our shop is right in the middle of it. We deal with food all day, mostly stuff that people can grab and take home or eat quickly. It’s a small space, so we have to be organized, though it doesn’t always look that way. There are bags of flour and spices stacked in the corners, and the stove is almost always going. I spend my time mostly at the front, taking orders and packing things into bags. My apron gets stained pretty fast, and by the end of the shift, I’m ready to sit down for a while. We don’t have a big philosophy or anything. We just show up, cook the food, and hope the customers like what they buy. The morning is usually spent prepping ingredients, chopping onions, and making sure the oil is hot. Jayanagar has a lot of places to eat, but we’ve been here at this spot for a bit, and we have our regulars who come by every week. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a mess, which is something we hear about a lot. We just keep doing our thing, regardless of how busy the road gets.
