Cilantro

We are over in Koramangala, specifically in the VI Block, Drafitilla Layout at number 9. It can be a little tricky to find us if you aren't familiar with the 4th Block area, as the lanes all sort of look the same after a while. Cilantro is a small setup. We don't have a massive dining room or a huge staff. It’s mostly just a few of us in the kitchen and one or two people handling the front. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small offices, so we get a lot of local workers during the lunch hour. It gets pretty cramped in here when everyone shows up at once. We don’t have any fancy menus or leather-bound books. It’s just food written on a board or a simple piece of paper. We use a lot of fresh ingredients, which is why we called it Cilantro, I guess. The kitchen is always noisy with the sound of chopping and the stove going. Sometimes the delivery drivers are waiting around the entrance, which makes it feel even smaller than it is. We aren't a corporate chain or anything like that. We just wanted to open a place in Koramangala where we could cook the stuff we like. It’s nothing too special, just a local spot where you can get a meal without any fuss. We just try to keep things clean and keep the food coming out on time for whoever walks in to visit.
