Christ School

Our school is tucked away in 4th Block, right on Christ School Road in Bhavani Nagar. Most people in Suddagunte Palya just use the school as a landmark when giving directions. It’s been here for a long time, and you can tell by some of the older trees and the way the buildings have settled. We don’t have much of a corporate setup here. It’s just us teachers and staff trying to keep things running for the students. Some mornings are quite hectic, especially when the narrow roads get blocked with cars and scooters. You learn to live with it after a while. Inside the gates, it’s a different world. We have our routines, from the morning assembly to the final bell. The desks are a bit scratched and the blackboards have seen better days, but they serve the purpose. We spend a lot of time in the office sorting out files or talking to parents who drop by. It’s a very local feel. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the regular auto drivers who wait outside. It’s not a fancy place, just a solid building where we do our work. We focus on the daily stuff—making sure the kids have their books and the classrooms stay tidy. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up. Some days are longer than others, but we just come back and do it again the next morning without much complaint.
