Chennakeshva Water Supply

Chennakeshva Water Supply is located at number 196 in Varthur. This area has changed a lot lately with all the new apartments, but we are still operating out of our usual spot. The business is pretty straightforward. We have the tankers and the pumps, and we spend our days moving from one place to another. Varthur can get very dusty, and the roads aren’t always the best, so we spend a lot of time maintaining the trucks and making sure they don’t break down in the middle of a job. Our office is just a small corner in the shed where we keep the logbooks and some spare parts. It’s not a place for meetings or presentations. Most of our work happens out on the road or in the yard. We have a few local men working with us who know the layout of the old village and the new layouts perfectly. We don’t really use any modern marketing tricks. We just have our name painted on the side of the trucks and that seems to be enough for people to find us. It’s a lot of physical labor, dragging heavy hoses and climbing on top of the tanks. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the orders are filled and the equipment is ready for the next morning. It’s a tiring job but it keeps us busy and part of the community here.
