Cheeni

Cheeni is located at Plot No 143, tucked away on 6th Cross, First Main, in Soundarya Nagar. If you’re coming through Sidedahalli, it’s not too hard to spot if you’re looking for the right gate. The office is basically just a ground-floor space that we’ve made into our work area. Soundarya Nagar is mostly residential, so it’s pretty quiet during the day, except for the occasional delivery truck or the sound of someone’s dog barking down the street. I usually get here around nine-thirty and start by opening all the windows to let the air in. The name Cheeni always makes people think of something sweet, but for us, it’s just the name on the door. We have a few desks and a lot of boxes stacked up against the back wall. I keep meaning to organize the files better, but more work always seems to arrive before I can finish. The light in the afternoons is really nice through the front window, though it can get a bit warm in the summer. I usually walk to a small shop nearby to get some snacks around four o'clock. Sidedahalli has grown a lot since we first set up here, and there are new houses going up all the time. It feels good to be part of a neighborhood like this rather than being in a sterile office park. We don't have any corporate protocols; we just do what needs doing.
