Chaturvedis Food Paradise

Ashwath Nagar is where we are, at number 131. It’s a residential area mostly, so we get a lot of neighbors coming in. We called it Food Paradise, but it’s really just a kitchen where we cook the stuff we like. We have a lot of different things on the menu because everyone in the family had a different idea of what we should sell. It makes the kitchen a bit crowded with all the ingredients, but it works out. We spend a lot of time prepping vegetables and making dough. The morning is usually spent getting everything ready for the lunch crowd. We don't have fancy uniforms, just some aprons that get dirty pretty fast. The tables are just simple wood and we don't do any fancy decorations. We think the food should be the main thing anyway. Sometimes the kids from the nearby school come in and it gets really loud, but we don't mind the noise. We’ve had some tough days when the power goes out or a delivery doesn’t show up on time, but we just make do with what we have. It’s not a perfect place, the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been here long enough that we don't need a map to find our way around these streets.
