Chang Food Products

Begur Road is always busy these days. Our place, Chang Food Products, is located at House of Doors 14. It’s an interesting name for a location, and people sometimes get confused finding us, but once they see the sign, they know. We do a lot of prep work here. The kitchen area is where everything happens. There’s always a smell of something cooking or being packed. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We have to be careful with the heat and the timing. The staff is just a small group of local people who know how we like things done. We don't have fancy machines for everything; a lot of it is done by hand. The floors have to be washed constantly because things get spilled. It’s part of the job. We pack everything into boxes and get them ready for the vans. Sometimes the delivery schedule gets a bit chaotic if there’s a jam on Begur Road, which is pretty much every afternoon. We just try to keep up with the orders. It’s not a corporate office environment at all. It’s loud, it’s a bit cramped, and everyone is usually moving fast. But we get the food out and that is what matters. House of Doors 14 is where we spend our whole day, from early morning until the last box is taped shut. We just focus on making sure the batches turn out right so the customers stay happy with what they get.
