Century Controls

You can find us at Century Controls in Chintamani, Karnataka. We are located right near K. M. Krishnareddy’s place, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of town. The pin code here is 563125, in case you were wondering. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking on parts and making sure the control systems we deal with are sorted out properly. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit and tie; it’s more of a shirtsleeves-up kind of environment. The office gets quite dusty because of the road nearby, so we are always wiping down the desks and the equipment. We have a small staff and we’ve all worked together for a long time, so we know each other's habits pretty well. There’s a tea stall just a few minutes away that makes really strong ginger tea, which is where you’ll find most of us during the mid-morning break. The work can be a bit repetitive sometimes, looking at the same types of valves or switches over and over, but it’s what we do. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing department, just a phone that rings quite a lot and a ledger where we write everything down. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it seems to work for us and the people who come to see us here in Chintamani. We've been at this for a while and don't plan on changing much.
