Centre For Egovernance

Our office is over at A 26 1 in the KPWD Quarters in Jeevanbhima Nagar. It's a pretty standard government-style building, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. We focus on e-governance here, which basically means we spend our days looking at how to put more stuff online for people to use. It's a lot of computer work and meetings about systems. Being in the quarters means we're right in the thick of things with other government departments. It makes it easier to talk to people face-to-face when things get complicated. We’ve got a small team. Most of us have been working on these digital projects for a long time. It can be slow going sometimes because tech and government don't always move at the same speed. We just try to make things work better for the average person who needs to get their paperwork done. There’s always tea going around in the afternoon. It’s a busy place but we don't really do the whole corporate vibe. We’re just regular folks trying to get the tech side of things sorted out. The neighborhood is okay, plenty of places to grab a quick lunch nearby. We’ve been here a while now and most people in the quarters know where to find us if they have a question about the systems. It’s a lot of hard work, but we keep at it day after day. We like the area and the people here.
