Cater On Ring

Our small operation is located near the LIC Apartments in J P Nagar, specifically in the 1st Block. It’s a decent area, though parking for our delivery van can be a real headache some days. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy office. Most people just know us by the smell of what’s cooking in the back. The kitchen is the heart of the place. It’s filled with big steel counters and rows of plastic crates for packing. We spend a lot of time just washing those crates. It’s not the most exciting work, but it has to be done. There are four of us working here full-time. We usually have the radio on to some local station while we chop vegetables. My hands always smell like garlic or onions, no matter how much I scrub them. We aren't trying to be the biggest catering company in Bangalore. We just take the orders that come in and try to get them delivered on time. The traffic in JP Nagar is getting worse, so we spend a lot of time looking at Google Maps and arguing about which lane is faster. We use an old ledger to keep track of who owes us money. Sometimes I forget to write things down and have to scramble to remember later. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but the food gets where it needs to go. That’s about all there is to it.
