Caritas India

Our office is located in Kuala Lumpur, specifically at Lot 5 1 in Wisma Wim. The address is 7 Jalan Abang Haji Openg in the TTDI area. TTDI is a great part of the city, very green and mostly quiet compared to the center. Caritas India is the name, but we are working from here in Malaysia at the moment. Wisma Wim is a recognizable building for those who live in the 60000 zip code area. We have a modest space on the fifth floor. It is mostly desks, chairs, and a lot of discussion about how to help people. There is no corporate polish here. We don't have marble floors or expensive lighting. It is just a place where we get together to coordinate our efforts. The street outside, Jalan Abang Haji Openg, has some nice trees and it is a pleasant walk if the weather isn't too humid. People who come to see us are usually involved in some kind of community work. We share the building with other organizations, so there is always a sense of being part of a larger community. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we don't spend money on advertising. Most people find us because they are already involved in what we do. It is a straightforward, no-nonsense environment. We just want to get our work done and make sure things are moving in the right direction. There is always tea or coffee if someone stops by.
