Capgemini

We’re the Capgemini team based in a house, number 2495, on the 25 A Main in HSR Layout’s 1st Sector. It’s right near the 14th Cross. Working out of a house gives our day a different feel than a tall office block. It’s a bit more relaxed, and we don’t have to deal with elevators or long hallways. We’ve set up our desks in the main rooms and just get on with things. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so there’s a lot of greenery around and the sound of birds in the morning. We aren't a high-pressure corporate shop. We just handle our responsibilities as they come. There’s a kitchen where we make our own coffee, and someone usually brings in snacks or fruit to share. It’s a very human way to spend the day. We don’t use any marketing lingo or try to sound more important than we are. We’re just a bunch of people who work together in a converted house in Bangalore. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, but that’s just part of life here. We’ve got our own way of doing things that doesn’t involve a lot of meetings or corporate polish. It’s just a functional, comfortable spot where we get our work done. Most of us have been here for a long time now and like the quiet atmosphere.
