Capgemini

We are tucked away in Flat 343 of Building 13, over in Vinayaka Nagar. It’s part of HSR Layout Sector 6, which is a nice enough area to work in. It’s not your typical glass-and-steel office building you see everywhere. It feels more like a residential spot turned into a workspace, which suits us just fine. We don’t really go for the corporate look. There’s Abdul and the rest of the Capgemini team here just keeping things running. We have our routine down pretty well after all this time. The morning starts with opening up the windows to get some air in before the sun gets too high and hot. It’s a straightforward setup with everything we need and nothing we don’t. We spend our time on the computers, talking through problems, and occasionally complaining about the Bangalore traffic like everyone else does. The neighborhood is fairly calm, which helps when we really need to concentrate on a hard task. We aren't looking to win any awards for our office decor. It’s just a place where work happens. We keep the kettle going for tea and try to stay on top of the pile of papers that grows on the desks. It’s a very human way to work, without all the pressure of a high-rise office downtown. We’ve been here a while and know the neighbors. It’s just a comfortable, practical space for the daily business we handle.
