We are up here on the 2nd floor of the Oriental Building. MG Road is always noisy, but once you come up the stairs, it gets a lot quieter. It’s one of those older buildings where the walls feel thick. Most people know this stretch of the road because of all the shops, but we just sit back in our office. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. You can see the trees outside if you look out the window at the right angle. It isn't a huge place, just a regular office setup with desks and some chairs for when people drop by. We don't have a big sign outside, just the name on the door. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than not. It keeps us moving, I guess. The hallway has that old-fashioned smell to it. We just keep our heads down and get through the day's tasks. It’s a good spot to be if you like being in the middle of everything without the crowd actually coming into your workspace. Most days are pretty much the same. We come in early, handle what needs doing, and watch the traffic start to build up below. It’s just how things go for us here in the heart of the city. We don't really do anything besides the work itself.
