Bytes Consulting

We operate Bytes Consulting out of the YWCA Hostel in Koramangala, Bangalore. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for an office, but it works for us. Koramangala is always bustling, and being right here puts us in the middle of everything. We don't have a giant suite or a penthouse. It’s a modest setup where we can get our work done without too much fuss. Most of our day is spent on the computers. We do a lot of thinking and planning for the projects we have on hand. The hostel environment is generally quiet during the day which helps with concentration. We have our desks set up and we just get to it. Bangalore is a tech city, but we try to keep things grounded and simple. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Usually, it's just jeans and t-shirts while we work. People sometimes find it funny that we are in a hostel, but the address is easy to remember. We don't have a big marketing budget or fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. We just focus on the consulting side of things and try to be helpful. It’s a straightforward life here. We start in the morning and work until the task list is clear. It’s a good way to run a small business in a big city like this. We just keep going every day and focus on the work.
