Bsr Engineering

Our workshop is sitting right next to the New Vinayaka Temple in the Abbigere Layout area of Chikkabanavara. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but we like it out here because there’s more space to breathe. Bsr Engineering is basically a big open hall where we do all our work. You can hear the sounds of the temple throughout the day, which is actually quite nice when things get stressful. The floor is concrete and always has a layer of metal shavings or dust on it no matter how much we sweep. We’ve got a couple of big machines that take up most of the room, so we have to be careful where we walk. There’s no air conditioning, so we just leave the big front doors wide open to let the air in. Sometimes a stray dog will wander in to get out of the sun, and we don't mind much. We have a small room in the back where we keep our tools locked up at night. The work is hard and it gets very hot in the summer under the tin roof, but we just get on with it. We usually have lunch together on a small wooden bench outside. It isn’t a corporate office with fancy furniture; it’s just a place where we come to work every day and get our hands dirty with the machines.
