The British School is tucked away over at 67/1 in the Bardolpura area of Chamrajpet. It’s an older part of the city, and we’ve been part of the neighborhood for a while. The school isn't one of those giant campuses you see in the movies. It’s more of a local building that we’ve fixed up to work for classes. We have children and some teenagers coming in every day. It gets pretty loud during the breaks, but that is to be expected when you have a bunch of kids in one place. The teachers here are regular folks who live nearby and really care about getting the lessons right. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the stuff that works. The walls have some posters on them, and the desks are a bit worn from use, but they do the job. Bardolpura is a busy area, so there's always noise from the street coming through the windows. We've got a small gate out front and a bit of space for people to wait. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place. Parents usually know us because their neighbors' kids came here too. We just focus on the daily routine of teaching and making sure everything runs okay. It’s not a flashy operation, just a neighborhood school where people come to learn their lessons and move on to the next grade. We keep the doors open and the chalkboards ready.
