Bristlecone

We are Bristlecone, and our base is in Domlur, Bangalore. Domlur is a funny place because it’s right in the middle of everything but still has some quiet pockets if you know where to look. Our office is one of those places. It’s a simple building where we’ve set up shop. We have the usual things you’d expect—desks, some computers that hum a bit too loudly, and a lot of notebooks lying around. The traffic in Bangalore is always a topic of conversation here, especially since Domlur is so central. We all have our own tricks for getting in on time. Once we’re here, the focus is just on the work. We don’t have a fancy lounge or a cafeteria. We usually just order something from one of the nearby places or bring food from home. It’s a very no-nonsense environment. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just want to make sure the work we do is solid and that we don’t miss any deadlines. The team is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. It’s not uncommon to see someone fixing a printer one minute and then dealing with a complex task the next. We just get on with it. It’s a honest day’s work in a city that never really stops moving. We’re happy to be here in Domlur doing our thing.
