Brilliant Academy

Brilliant Academy. We are right by the Marathahalli Bridge, which means it’s never quiet. You can hear the traffic all day long from the second floor of the M T K Reddy Building. It’s a busy spot, right next to the Sangeetha Mobiles and the SBI Bank. We have students coming in at all hours, especially in the evenings after their regular classes. The rooms are basic, just desks and whiteboards. We’ve got some teachers who have been with us for a long time. It’s not a corporate school. It’s more of a place where kids come to catch up on things they didn't understand in school. We have a lot of books piled up in the corners. Sometimes the lift doesn't work so everyone walks up the stairs. It’s good exercise, I guess. We see a lot of different faces every year. Some stay for months, others just for a quick crash course. We don't do any flashy decorations. It’s just a place to study. Parents come in to talk about their kids' grades and we just tell them how it is. No sugarcoating things here. We try to keep the atmosphere focused but relaxed. It’s just us doing our job in a very busy part of town. We like seeing the students finally get that look on their face when a difficult math problem starts making sense to them.
